'Kabayan' gains more strength as it moves towards west Philippine sea
QUEZON CITY, Oct. 2 -- Tropical storm "Kabayan" has gained more strength as it continues to move towards the west Philippine sea.
According to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) at 4 pm today, the eye of the storm was estimated at 205 km Northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
It has maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph and is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.
Occasional rains will be experienced over the provinces of Bataan, Zambales and Pangasinan.
TS Kabayan is expected to exit PAR tonight between 11 pm to 1 am.
PAGASA has lifted all public storm warning signals as of 5pm.
Traveling over the Northern and Western seaboards of Luzon is still risky. (PAGASA/PIA)
