Churches and religious groups serve as
our people’s shepherd on the Daang Matuwid: They ensure that no citizen
goes astray or is left behind as we journey towards lasting, meaningful
reform. For many years, your collective has demonstrated humility,
compassion, and devotion, enabling the faithful to thrive and contribute
to the advancement of our society. Today is an opportunity to give
thanks to the Almighty for His continued blessings and guidance. May
this event allow you to grow deeper in faith and fruitful in service:
Continue to embody love, gratefulness, and forgiveness by assisting our
fellowmen, especially the weak and disenfranchised, that they too can
lead dignified, productive lives.
Knowing that we have partners like you
gives government the inspiration and will to sustain our efforts in
