MANILA, Philippines – All eyes are on President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, July 25, as he delivers his first State of the Nation Address as the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines.

Duterte’s first days in Malacañang were marked by the historic ruling of an international tribunal on the West Philippine Sea, the Supreme Court's dismissal of the plunder case against former President Gloria Arroyo, and President Duterte's controversial crackdown on drug users and pushers, and his continued boycott of the media.
