Top Performing Police Units


In line with the PNP Performance Governance System, PCSUPT Josephus Garrote Angan, Regional Director, PRO6 stressed out his marching orders to prevent crimes, go after wanted persons, account loose firearms and to “go hard” on illegal drugs, performance of every police units.

Due to relentless operation, intelligence monitoring and coordination with the community, each City and Police Provincial Office are given targets to be attained. As for the month of February 2014, Iloilo City Police Office got the highest percentage of arrest on the Campaign against Illegal Drugs, seconded by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Iloilo Police Provincial Office got the third spot.
On the Campaign against Illegal Gambling, Bacolod City Police Office got the first spot followed by Iloilo Police Provincial Office and Iloilo City Police Office.

On the other hand, Iloilo Provincial Police Office acquires the top spot on three (3) major categories, the highest percentage of arrest on Top Most Wanted Person, highest percentage of arrest on other Wanted Person and highest percentage of number of loose firearms confiscated/recovered.

On the Campaign against proliferation of Loose Firearms, Aklan Police Provincial Office received the second place and followed by Iloilo City Police Office. On Campaign against Top Most Wanted Person, by Negros Police Provincial Office was rank 2 and followed by Antique Police Provincial Office. And on other Wanted Person, still Negros Police Provincial Office got the second place and followed by Bacolod City Police Office.

Each police units were selected based on the parameters of their accomplishments which will be measured every month.

“Due awards and recognition will be given to  deserving police units  not only  to boost their morale but also as a reminder to those other police units to push hard on their effort in attaining the said targets. Any police units who fail to follow this mandate will be dealt with accordingly.” Angan said.
