Luzon lockdown: What are the do's and don'ts?

The guidelines cover which establishments will remain open, as well as the movement of people when purchasing essential goods, working, and traveling

MANILA, Philippines – When President Rodrigo Duterte announced that he was placing Luzon on lockdown to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus, there were questions on how this would be carried out.

Cabinet officials claimed the general rule was for everyone to stay home unless they needed to buy essential goods or were part of individuals allowed to go out during the lockdown.

On Wednesday, March 18, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles listed the government's do's and don'ts during the "enhanced community quarantine," which will last until April 12.
