PBBM commits all gov’t efforts to help Mindanao

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. committed a whole-of-government approach to deliver assistance to needy Filipinos in far-flung areas of Mindanao including Tawi-Tawi and Basilan.

In his speech during the distribution of financial support to El Niño-affected farmers and fisherfolk in Tawi-Tawi, President Marcos said the entire government is exhausting all means to mitigate the effects of the natural phenomenon to the region.

The President said the local government of Tawi-Tawi and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) are supporting the government’s advocacy to serve the Filipino people, especially in the remote areas as envisioned under a “Bagong Pilipinas.”

President Marcos assured the residents of Tawi-Tawi of his return to personally monitor their condition. He extended his gratitude to fishermen and farmers for their unwavering support to the government. | PND
