More farmers to receive loan condonation certificates—PBBM
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday assured that the government will continue to distribute more Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Nueva Ecija.
In his speech during the distribution of COCROMs and the turnover of agri-credit assistance in Palayan City, President Marcos said there are 4,640 more farmers who are set to receive their COCROMs.
The President led the first province-wide distribution of certificates on Friday. A total of 6,000 ARBs have received their certificates.
Records from the DAR show that Nueva Ecija has the largest number of ARBs and the biggest number of ARBs benefiting from Republic Act 11953, or the New Agrarian Emancipation Act in Central Luzon.
There are a total of 13,241 ARBs in the province who will benefit from the measure. The remainder of the ARBs who have not received their respective certificates will follow suit, with a target of over 4,000 ARBs to receive their COCROMs in October. PND
