Published on 03 March 2014
Being
a service-oriented unit of the PNP, the Criminal Investigation and
Detection Group (CIDG) find the need to update its public clientele of
its services relative to their complaints for investigative assistance,
on a periodic basis.
Consequently,
the CIDG created a Quality Assurance Support to Victims Desk (QASVD)
activated on February 17, 2014 to the HCIDG as well as to all Regional
and Provincial Offices. The current PCR Chief is designated as focal
person wherein his duty is to update the complainants/victims status on
the cases lodged/filed to CIDG.
PCSUPT
BENJAMIN B MAGALONG, Acting Director, CIDG ordered all Regional and
Provincial Chiefs to adopt the same, designating their respective PCR
Chiefs as QASVD officers.
The QASVD is created to ensure that all Complainants brought before or referred to this Group are acted upon, in order that victims/complainants will be satisfied with CIDGs police service from the time of the commencement of the investigation until its resolution.
The conceptualization of QASVD is in consonance with Chief PNP’s Plans and Programs for the P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030.
